I moved to Florida from Toronto 25 years ago — it was supposed to be a temporary move, but we fell in love with the climate and the warmth of our neighbors. Florida is my paradise!

Raising two children gave me the precious gifts of patience and calmness! They’re all grown up and Laura graduated from Flagler College in 2022 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and is finishing up her Master of Fine Arts at the University of Michigan. Sean graduated from St. Johns River State College and now attends the University of Central Florida working toward his BA in Economics.

My husband is a certified general contractor, and we enjoy boating on the St. Johns River, touring Florida, and antiquing. Something most people don’t know about me is that I started a successful communicating consulting business at age 25, and taught communication courses at my alma mater.
